ALCOHOL & VENUE SAFETY AGREEMENT.

This agreement applies where alcohol is available from a licensed venue during a Percenters event. It records the conduct required for participation; it is not a liability waiver.

CHOICE. Drinking is optional. I will not pressure another person to drink and I may choose a non-alcoholic drink or nothing at all.

VENUE CONTROL. Alcohol is bought independently from the licensed venue. The venue controls sales, proof-of-age checks, refusal of service, drinking areas and its premises rules. THE PERCENTERS. does not sell, supply, include or pay for alcohol.

MY CONDUCT. If I choose to drink, I remain responsible for my decision, behaviour and safe travel. I will remain respectful, will not bring or use illegal drugs, and will not drive, cycle or use a vehicle where alcohol or drugs make this unlawful or unsafe.

SAFETY ACTION. If alcohol, drugs or intoxication create a safety, conduct, capacity or welfare concern, THE PERCENTERS. may refuse entry, pause or stop my participation, require me not to drink for the rest of its event, ask me to switch to a non-alcoholic drink, or ask me to leave the Percenters event. Venue staff or security may be involved where necessary.

NO UNIT MONITORING. THE PERCENTERS. does not count or approve my alcohol units, does not guarantee that any amount is risk-free, does not provide personal supervision of my drinking and does not guarantee transport home.

EVENT END. At the advertised finish, the facilitated Percenters event ends. If the venue allows me to remain, I do so independently as a venue customer. Later drinking, purchases, socialising, travel and private arrangements are not organised or supervised by THE PERCENTERS. unless an authorised lead expressly announces an extension.

ASK FOR HELP. I will tell a Percenters worker or venue worker if I feel unwell, believe a drink may have been interfered with, or am worried about somebody's immediate safety.

LEGAL RIGHTS REMAIN

I understand that this agreement does not exclude or restrict liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Each organisation remains responsible for its own acts and duties.
